Lenovo unveils 3D gaming monitor, PC

Lenovo has introduced a 3D gaming monitor Lenovo L2363d and a desktop PC with Nvidia 3D Vision technology.

The new Lenovo L2363d is one of the first full HD (1920 x 1080) 3D monitors demonstrated at the Consumer Electronics Show 2011 held last week. Lenovo L2363d with path-breaking Nvidia 3D Vision technology promises to offer gamers, movie-lovers and photo enthusiasts a high-quality stereoscopic 3D experience. 3D freaks can visualize a new range of 3D content with the Lenovo L2363d 23-inch 3D monitor. The new Lenovo 3D gaming monitor features dual webcam lenses that capture 3D photos and allow users to participate in stereoscopic 3D Web-conferencing using Nvidia 3D Vision glasses.

In other 3D news, Lenovo has also launched IdeaCentre K330 PC, a high-performance 3D gaming PC supported by Nvidia 3D Vision technology. Lenovo IdeaCentre K330 PC is expected to hit the markets by February. The new Lenovo 3D gaming PC boasts second-generation Intel Corei7 processor with Intel Turbo Boost Technology 2.0, Nvidia GeForce GTX460 GPU, RAID hard drives and surround sound. Lenovo IdeaCentre K330 PC features Enhanced Experience 2.0 for Windows that optimizes system files, processes and hardware settings to achieve, on average, 20-seconds faster boot and shutdown times compared to non-optimized PCs. The connectivity options include eSATA port, a 15-in-1 card reader, eight USB 2.0 ports and two optional USB 3.0 ports.

With built-in Nvidia 3D technology, Lenovo L2363d gaming monitor and IdeaCentre K330 PC are compatible with  a bundle of 3D content including 500 3D games, Blu-ray 3D movies, 3D photos and 3D video. Moreover, users can share, upload, and view full-resolution 3D photos and even they could watch 3D movies through a dedicated world’s first Nvidia 3D Vision online community.

Nvidia’s 3D Vision ecosystem is exploring and supports more than 1000 products including notebooks, desktop PCs, TVs, projectors, etc. Furthermore, the interesting 3DTV Play software provides full HD 3D audio visuals from PCs or notebooks to 3D HDTVs and HDMI audio/video receivers. 3DTV Play software comes free ofcost with Nvidia 3D Vision notebooks and PCs.
