Acer Aspire 5738D 3D notebook launched in India

Acer has rolled out its Acer Aspire 5738D 3D-capable notebook in the Indian market. The Acer Aspire 5738D 3D notebook will be available across the country at a price of Rs 43,500.

The Acer Aspire 5738D 3D notebook has a 15.6-inch LED widescreen display, with an aspect ratio of 16:9 and resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels.
The standout feature of the Acer Aspire 5738 3D notebook is that it allows users to all view all movies, photos, videos and games in 3D, apart from 3D movies and photos.
The display screen of the notebook comes with a special 3D coating and polarized glasses that allows users to watch both 2D and 3D content.

At the time of the launch, W. S. Mukund, MD Acer India, said, “The future of 3D is firming up across all shores and we are proud to bring that technology alive in India and go mainstream. The day is not far off before consumers realize the true potential of Stereoscopic 3D. We believe this will enable a whole new world order within the mobile computing arena and change the way consumers experience technology.”
The Acer Aspire 5738D 3D notebook is powered by a 2.1Ghz dual core Intel Processor and a built-in ATI 4570 graphics processor. Users can also opt for a dual-core Pentium processor.
The notebook comes with up to 4GB DDR2 RAM and 500GB HDD.
Other main specifications of the Acer Aspire 5738D 3D notebook include an 1.3 megapixel webcam, Gigabit LAN, DVD writer, 3G options, memory card reader, WiFi and Bluetooth.
